On This Day in Weird, June 7...
1975: Twelve-year-old Ronnie Steves woke from sleep to the frantic
sound of his ducks, outside his home near Venice, Florida. Going outside, he allegedly
sees a Bigfoot roughly six feet tall, covered with shaggy hair, leaving on a
fencepost and peering into the ducks' pen. It flees when he appears, leaving large
footprints behind.
