2003: While smoking on his porch at 10 a.m., a resident of
White County, Arkansas, hears "three
growls which sounded like a low bear growl, but loud" emanating from some
nearby woods. Back on the porch for another smoke an hour later, he sees
something reddish in color "moving very quickly through the woods,"
appearing to by roughly five feet six inches tall. When he approaches the site
on foot, he sees and hears nothing more.
