1964: While camping at Brown Gulch, 15 miles from Butte,
Montana, a Boy Scout wakes to strange sounds at 4 a.m. Peering from his tent,
he sees a hairy bipedal creature retreating into darkness, leaving footprints
20 inches long and 7 inches wide.
