2000: A motorist and his passenger traveling along Highway 17 I Colorado, between the Conejos
River and La Manga Pass on the border with New Mexico, pause at a rest
stop and report hearing loud "whoops" described as
"threatening." They see nothing, but leave the area hastily,
afterward reporting the noises to the GCBRO web site.
