On This Day in Weird, April 13...
1977: Alleged witnesses Tom and Connie Courter claim their
second Bigfoot sighting in as many days at Rising Sun, Indiana (see yesterday's
blog). This time, Tom reports firing 16 gunshots at the creature without
apparent effect. No trace of the prowler is found afterward, nor is it seen
again around their mobile home—no great surprise.
