1975: While driving at night near Lake Okeechobee in
Florida's Martin County, Steve Humphreys allegedly struck a Sasquatch running
across the road in front of his car. While Humphreys and his wife escaped
injury, their vehicle sustained major damage. Neither the Humphreys nor police
found any other trace of the reported hairy victim.
