1961: While driving through Washington State's Beacon Rock
State Park, witness Don Cox reportedly sees a Sasquatch eight to ten feet tall
cross the roadway in front of his car, then "leap up" a 40-degree
roadside embankment to enter the forest. Cox's exact location within the
5,100-acre year-round camping park is not disclosed.
