2003: I married my lovely wife Heather at Fort Augustus,
Scotland, overlooking Loch Ness. Elsewhere...
1976: The Alton (Illinois) Telegraph reports
that an "ape" recently seen near Moro has been "added to [the] area's
list of animalistic spooks." Others include the "Gooseville
Bear," sighted in August 1949, a "great snake" from East Alton,
and "a seven-foot-tall man-beast with long white shaggy hair periodically
reported between Marine and Edwardsville." All those mysterious beasts
were apparently confined to Madison County, fertile ground for monster hunters!
