1977: Florida's Palm Beach Post newspaper reports two
recent "skunk ape" sightings at a local golf course without providing
specific dates. In the first case, the course's superintendent saw a shaggy
black creature drinking from one of the lakes. In the second, a security guard
saw it wandering about the edges of the course.
