On This Day in Weird, February 9...
2014: Perennial hoaxer Fred Dyer schedules this date for
public revelation of the "second Bigfoot" he has allegedly killed,
this one near San Antonio, Texas. Predictably, Dyer cancels the press
conference at the last moment and later confesses that his latest claim is yet
another fraud for profit, mocking anyone stupid enough to believe anything he
says.
