MESSIE THE MONSTER

South Carolina's Lake Murray is reputedly home to a monster, to which the nickname Messie has been given.  Reports have been coming in since 1973.  One witness said it was a fish, but elaborated to say it was not a sturgeon.  Sturgeon can grow to large sizes and could be mistaken for monsters.
