1968: While flying over "Confidence Ridge, California,"
in a small private aircraft, Robert James Jr. and Leroy Larwick report seeing a
Bigfoot on the ground below. They estimate its height at 10 to 12 feet. While
untraceable by name today, the site seems to be near Twain Harte in Tuolomne County.
