1978: An unnamed male juvenile witness reports seeing a
"big ape" eating minnows from a stream near Crowley, Louisiana. He
describes the creature as broad-shouldered and covered with dark hair, except
for its buttocks and the soles of its feet. It reportedly hops away on
one foot after the boy hurled stones at it.
