2009: A lone motorist driving north on Illinois Route 4,
near Hamel, reports glimpsing an orange colored "large, bulky upright
figure," 8 to 8.5 feet tall, in some roadside woods. He has no time to
assess any other details during the brief afternoon incident, but reports it to
the BFRO's website the same day. He tells follow-up investigators that the
creatures color reminded him of an orangutan.
