On This Day in Weird, November 10...
1977: South Dakota's Timber Lake Topic newspaper
reports a motorist's Bigfoot sighting north of Little Lake—which does not
appear on the USA Place Names Gazetteer as an actual location in the Mount Rushmore
State. Making matters stranger yet, British authors Colin and Janet Bord, in
their Bigfoot Casebook, list the November 10th newspaper article as
their source for a sighting on November 13, three days after the alleged event was
reported.
