1954: A Madame Leboeuf of Chabeuil, in the Drôme Department
of southeastern France, reports a UFO sighting at 4 p.m. She describes a flat,
circular craft with one large-eyed humanoid creature about three feet tall,
clad in a "diving suit" and helmet, that moved in her direction
before she fled with her dog. Police find a circle of crushed foliage at the
site.
