As you may have noticed, I have been away for a few days, at the Cambridge Folk Festival with my wife, who wanted to see Joan Baez live. From today, I shall supplying material to the website again. However, I shall be away once more from August 13th-17th, attending this year's CFZ Weird Weekend. My lecture this year deals with the Dobharchu and my experience in searching for it with a television crew. No, we didn't find it, but the expotition (as Winnie-the-Pooh might have spelled it) was not without its moments of interest. For those of you who like folk music I can recommend the first band who were playing at the Festival on Saturday. They were called Goitse, which is a word in the Irish language meaning, 'Come here'.
