QUICK MESSAGE FROM RONAN COGHLAN

As you may have noticed, I have been away for a few days, at the Cambridge Folk Festival with my wife, who wanted to see Joan Baez live.  From today, I shall supplying material to the website again.  However, I shall be away once more from August 13th-17th, attending this year's CFZ Weird Weekend.  My lecture this year deals with the Dobharchu and my experience in searching for it with a television crew.  No, we didn't find it, but the expotition (as Winnie-the-Pooh might have spelled it) was not without its moments of interest.  For readers who will be in England at that time, tickets are still available.  Go to the Centre for Fortean Zoology website at www.cfz.org.uk

For those of you who like folk music I can recommend the first band who were playing at the Festival on Saturday.  They were called Goitse, which is a word in the Irish language meaning, 'Come here'.
