PELADIT

Name of a Catalonian cryptid.  If ever you venture to the Montserrat Mountains in Catalunya, you may encounter this strange animal, which has features of both human and bear and is also said to be a marsupial.  Could this be a confused report of the Spanish wildman, which is said to have been seen in modern times?
