On This Day in Weird, June 4...

1987: Former school headmaster Raymond Bishops of Inverness, Scotland, leads a protest against plans for caged fish farming at Loch Ness. Fearing for future tourism, Bishops says, ''Nobody will be coming up any more if all they get to see is fish cages. Nessie is dead."
