PARTRIDGE CREEK BEAST

In 1903 - somewhat before my time - a creature that looked like a dinosaur was spotted by trackers in the Yukon in a gulch called Partridge Creek.  The party included a Jesuit called Lavagneux and they discerned a huge beast, about 50' in height, scaling a ravine.  Its skin was gray-black and it had a horn on i ts nose. Lavagneux reckoned it was a ceratosaurus.  On a further occasion, Lavagneux saw it once more, crossing a frozen river, a reindeer clasped in its jaws.

If the creature was indeed a ceratosaurus, this would indicate that such dinosaurs had warm blood to survive the rigors of the Canadian climate.
