AFRICAN IVORY IMPORTS BANNED IN CHINA

It is now, for the time being, illegal to import ivory from Africa into China.  Unfortunately, this will effect only those imports that are made legally.  The illegal importation will doubtless continue.  Ivory poaching has now reached the status of a major international crime.
