On This Day in Weird, December 8....
2011: A resident of rural Bond County, Illinois, wakes to howling
dogs and peers outside in time to see "something" run into the woods.
He later told the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, "I first thought
it to be a large man in a coat but upon shouting and throwing a small stone
into the trees discovered otherwise. Responding to my shout it shrieked/howled
and tossed the stone back at me."
