1663: Witnesses in the village of Robozero, in the
present-day Republic of Karelia, observe a spherical red UFO passing over Lake
Bol-Ozero on a clear afternoon. It returns an hour later, headed in the
opposite direction, and hovers over the lake for 45 minutes. Observers say the
object is at least 45 meters in diameter, emitting red light that illuminates
the lake's surface.
