Frog

A fascinating creature of Cherokee folklore is the Giant Frog.  It was the size of a house.  There was a place in Georgia called Walasi'ya meaning the Place of Frogs.  Here the batrachian giant was said to abide.  In modern times the place is called Frogtown.
