WEIRD WEEKEND

Centre for Fortean Zoology

This year's Weird Weekend, held by the Centre for Fortean Zoology in the UK, is scheduled for 15th-17th August.  An outstanding assemblage of speakers has been engaged, including Richard Freeman (aka Barry Tadcaster), Nigel Mortimer, Lee Walker (an outstanding lecturer in my view), Max Blake, Glen Vaudrey, Nick Wadham, Judge Dredd (I mean Smith) and Neil Nixon.  Oh, yes, and me: they're making me do two lectures because of the cost of bringing me over from Ireland!

Topics covered will include alien abductions, ancient astronauts, urban legends of Liverpool, out of place birds, genetics for cryptozoologists and more.  The famous Tunnel of Goats will be in evidence.

The event also includes activities for younger persons.
