1983: 15-year-old Owen Burnham finds a strange carcass,
resembling that of a prehistoric ichthyosaurus, stranded at Bungalow Beach,
Republic of the Gambia, West Africa. While local fishermen call it a
"dolphin," the animal measures 15 feet long, with a 2.5-foot beak
containing 80 identical conical teeth. Cryptozoologists nickname the creature
"Gambo."
