SHAGGY DOG STORY

Komondor
Beneath all that hair lies a dog - a large and shaggy dog.  It is, in fact, a komondor, which is a national symbol of Hungary.  These dogs first appeared in Europe in the 12th Century and are first mentioned in writing in 1544.  They are used to guard livestock.  Depending on which angle you regard them from, they can look a bit like cryptids.  I wonder if we might have here the origin of the Sheepsquatch - is there a feral pack of them out there?
