1988: A trawler nets a giant squid 6 ft. 2 in. long,
weighing 330 pounds, at a depth of 495 meters off the Auckland Islands.
2000: Another giant squid is dredged up from 476 meters, off
New Zealand.
2005: A stampede at the Mandher Devi temple in Mandhradevi,
India, kills at least 258 people.
